charm: mid-sem break...
hey guys, i am so sorry i haven't been updating... been busy with submitting my assignments and struggling to catch up. -sheepish- having my mid-sem break now of one week. need to prepare for a torts test when the new term starts. goodness, time just flies by like nobody's business! i've already been in law school for 6 weeks!
well, it's the singapore idol finals tonight, with hady and jonathan vying for the title. weird this year, cos the results show is one day after the performance show. well, if you ask for my opinion, i think hady's the better singer and behaves more natural on stage. sleek performances. :) jon delivers hell intense performances, and his eyes (although small), are very very very captivating. wins hady hands down when it comes to charisma. it's like when he sings and looks into the camera and manages to catch your eye, you just don't feel like looking elsewhere anymore. -chuckles- it's a bit tough to gauge who's gonna win, but i'm more of a hady fan. :) but if jon wins, i sincerely feel he deserves it too. both are great performers and singers, so now it's down to the popularity votes.
treated myself to a disney cartoon today, after fretting over my assignment submission in the duration of the week. watched tarzan on dvd. lovely storyline with amazing animation. and in all honesty, i miss 2D animation... i mean, nowadays you just see all the 3D cartoons popping out from pixar and dreamworks. whatever happened to old school, cheesy romance portrayed on 2D animation? the days of snow white, cinderella, the sleeping beauty, beauty and the beast, aladdin (a personal favourite of mine), mulan, and pocohontas... i am such a die-hard romantic... usually catch the movies for the romance element. bah. unrealistic me. -chuckles-
righty! will be off to plan my schedule for this week! am catching forbidden city on thursday night! :) something to look forward to whee!

Update from Lock Gor Gor
Hey hey, so sorry have not updated for SUCH a long time... hahaha...
Anyway, thank goodness the weather here is getting warmer... so Lock Gor Gor is now wearing less layers. The humidity reached a whopping 59% today here in the city. Lock Gor Gor knows that the people over in Singapore must think, "Wow, 59%! That's so low"... but here, a more typical humidity level is closer to maybe, mid-20s?
A lot of things have happened since the last time Lock Gor Gor updated this blog. And he is recently engaged in a few activities -
(1) Chasing Optus up and down to get his DSL2 connection and home phone line up and running (2 weeks, 3 days and counting)...
(2) School assignments - 3 due next week! OMG!!
(3) Tests tests tests!! Just had a psyc today... it was not very good, unfortunately =(... that's quite sad, I studied very hard for it hoping I could snag a HD... looks like even a D is not remotely close... =(
Oh well... don't console me! I'll have to try harder I guess. Thank thank god that I will be headed off to Brisbane next Saturday for a break so that'll be something to look fwd to... (since my trip back home is still so far off).
Frond Ferny - Gardening
Haha, am in the midst of having a flu but I just had fun! Wore the hat Kor bought for me in Aust. Wore a sleeveless tee in the open today!! Damn hot la today. (Normally it's under my long sleeve shirt hehe) Went to the garden and took tons of photos. The first two roses in Aunty Laura's garden has bloomed! They smell niceeee in spite of me having a flu and nose is running. =) I also went to pluck the strawberries. Plucked 12. I did pluck some overripe ones and soft ones and fed them to the chooks. They scrambled for it like us feeding seagulls with chips. Muahaha. Oh, and I caught my 2nd fly with the fly swatter too. Buzzing in the kitchen. He (or she) has no business to be in the house! Anyway it was yucky. When I took a tissue to pick it up, there were like little yellow maggots as well. EWWWWW. So I think it's a female.
Am soooo happy today! I got back my 2nd stats assignment and guess what? I got a HD for it!!! *jumps in joy* Update you guys! I'm not the only one alive here!
