Frond Ferny - Hmm...

Wow. This blog is like...HELLO??!! ANYONE THERE??!!

No one's updating it! Even Merster when he's gonna be home in 2 days. WHARRT? I haven't really done much since I came back. Went out with Ming Xian yesterday and got Angel Voices and TS2 Pets. Am going to create a family later with a nice pet hhaa. We'll see how it goes.

Singapore's having a bout of cold weather. Cold as in relative to Singapore's standards. Dad told me the temperature now is around 23.5deg. Woohoo! Nice! If it drops to 21 tomorrow, I'm going for a nice walk hahaha! Singapore has never had such low temperatures before and I must say I kinda like it. *grin* Less humidity! Yea yea!

Anyway results are out. Merster got like 3 HDs and 2 Ds or something. Bugger. I got 2 HDs, 1 D and 1 C. Not bad I think. I never had HDs since PRIMARY school. *grin* Dad and Mum are happy of course which leads me to wonder again, all the other times my results weren't that fantastic. Were they really happy with it? You can't be happy now with a good result and be happy THEN with a crappy one. Humans are such complex creatures! Well, I am studying them. Hopefully I'll have an answer in the future. *grin*

Anyway! It's a short entry. Update you guys! Mers is dying of boredom here. Something interesting happened today though. I tried to close the kueh ka pek lid by pushing it down and the entire lid just fell through into the tin. WHAT??!! Aiyo. Thank god it's all finished. Haha. Slept in Merster's bed last night because the router's screwed. Waiting for Merster to come back and fix it.

charm: one more to go...

had torts yesterday, and well, while it was hell of a scramble with time, managed to lump in as much as i could in two and a half hours. contract's on friday, at some crappy unearthly time of 2.30pm.

bah. i do not like afternoon papers. always have no idea what to do in the morning. but well, technically, the contract paper isn't exactly an "exam" per se, because they call it a "mid-year test", but arrgh, the studying is really quite daunting, although it's only 7 topics. and it's closed book! how on earth am i supposed to write an ESSAY on the topic when i don't even know the content well! -dies- and at least for torts, we had two and a half hours for 2 questions, but for contract, it's the same amount time for THREE questions. one essay and two hypotheticals! my god. i have no idea how i'm going to sit through it. a couple of my friends were commenting that we'd probably be more preoccupied with the fact that we'd have too much time on our hands due to the lack of points to write. -chuckles-

oh well, just have to stay positive about things, i guess. apparently they're all out to test us on concepts, so i guess i'll need to focus more on the text than the cases. spent an entire day mugging for this topic on the breach of contract. bah, took longer than expected. but well, at least i managed to complete it! -beams-

ok, i must be boring you guys with my law stuff again. -sheepish-

on a lighter note! carolling! :D will be carolling with the nus a cappella group (we're called resonance!) on the 16th and 20th dec, location not confirmed yet. prolly at some shopping mall, if i'm not wrong. as for HC carolling, will be singing at the fullerton hotel from the 21st to the 25th dec, every evening. ahh can't wait to start carolling, especially with the HC choir. it's a family affair. :)

all righty! time to get back to contract law mugging. see ya guys soon!

Lock Gor Gor: Yummy Dinner

I thought I would finish up some of the ingredients in the fridge today so... what did I come up with?

For veges, I stir-fried the cabbage and carrots in oyster sauce. For meat, I decided I would debone the drumsticks in the fridge and stir-fry pepper oyster sauce chicken with peas, carrots and corn (and hence, the colourful little dish you have). Pretty good I must say. And there is finally some gravy (thank god I knew how to estimate the water levels properly). Hence, my second major cooking experiment. :)

On another note, I have decided to take up a 30-day trial membership at the Fitness First gym near my place. Because they are currently running a promotion, I get 1 month for free (essentially, the month of December). Else, it's usually about $80 a month. The gym facilities are excellent (even better than the ones at UNSW), there's complimentary towels, complimentary use of the shower, beverages, and the best part is, they run these different aerobics, pilates, yoga, boxing, cycling and every imaginable type of class every day of the week almost on the hour. I'm thinking of joining the aerobics class first to increase my aerobics fitness, before progressing onto doing the yoga or pilates classes. They have 3-sessions included with the trainer though, who will be assessing you and then recommending a program so I'll probably wait for that before I embark on anything.

Anyways, other than that, nothing much has been happening. I see Mers Morrrk is obviously very attached to Sophia. Good fer ya! Also, still counting down to my return to Singapore (less than 3 weeks now)... so see ya all when I get back.
